Gatherings may include locations, routes, dates, times, distance, pace, attendee information, and chat activity. Public gatherings and public profiles may be visible to other users or visitors depending on your settings and the visibility of the gathering.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to operate Solegather, create and display gatherings, manage RSVPs, support messaging, process account actions, send confirmations and receipts, improve safety and reliability, prevent abuse, and communicate service-related updates.
4. Sharing Information
We share information as needed to provide app features, such as showing public profile details, attendee lists, gathering chats, and creator information. We may also share information with service providers who help with hosting, authentication, email delivery, payments, analytics, or security.
5. Third-Party Services
Solegather may use third-party services for sign-in, maps, payment processing, email delivery, file storage, or other infrastructure. Those services may process information according to their own terms and privacy policies.
6. Your Choices
You can update account information, adjust public profile settings, manage blocked users, and control some visibility settings in your account. You may also request account or personal-data actions through the available account settings.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your profile, display name, account settings, gathered data, RSVPs, messages, and other personal information associated with your account. Some information may be retained after deletion where required by law, to resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or to maintain financial records such as donation receipts and transaction history required for tax or audit purposes.
You can delete your account and personal data at any time by visiting your Account Settings → Delete Account page. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you have questions or need assistance deleting your data, contact Solegather support through the app.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, so you should use a strong password and protect access to your account.
9. Children
Solegather is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact Solegather support so the issue can be reviewed.
